Spiral cable module

Data-acquisition in mechanical production machines requires secure and reliable transfer of signal with lowest energy consumption and small space consumption. Since our sensors allow measurement in the significant force flows without negative influences on the mechanical structure – the mechanical heart of machines – it is natural, that we are challenged to transfer these signals with high quality and reliability through rough surroundings.

Wireless transfer is typically no option, since the last meters to the sensor-locations are often located in metallic housings and at a reliable, easily accessible energy source for a sender at the sensor location is not realizable.

For this reason, we designed the spiral cable module. This allows usage of sensible signal lines in harsh environments like gearcases of machines.
